Art In The Paark

Art In the Park Weekends - Apply Now!

Art in the Park will run from Memorial Day Weekend (May 28th) through Labor Day weekend ( Sept. 3rd), 2021.  Artists can apply to demonstrate and sell their art at a table within the park from 9 AM to 5 PM, Thursday through Sunday of one weekend during the program. (Thursday and Sunday are optional)

Only artwork within the Heritage Art classification will be allowed.  A committee of Board members and the park manager will jury all artists works  Artists must demonstrate their medium and can sell their works during their weekend without commissions or fees.

Placement within the park is at the discretion of the park manager.  The park will supply one table and chair.  Additional display/working pieces require the park managers approval.

Artists will be encouraged to announce their participation on their own social media accounts and other bulletin boards appropriate to the event.

The purpose of the program is to promote Heritage Arts and Crafts by local artists and increase membership for the foundation and attendance at the park.

Only original work will be accepted.

Accepted Artists will be required to join the friend’s group at a cost of $15.00 (or can upgrade to a family membership for $40.00.  All membership benefits apply.)

The foundation will be responsible for publicity, the jury committee, getting memberships paid, and coordinating with the Visit Cedar City calendar to promote the event. Banners, posters, rack cards and paid Facebook ads will be part of the promotion by the Foundation.

Download a vendor application packet, complete, and return to the Park by April 21, 2021.  The review committee will meet and contact all applicants by May 3rd.
