Ms. Biz – Another Class Begins.  Will You Join Us?

I wasn’t sure what I had a greed to do, but I’d give it my best.  When Women’s Business Center Director Debbie Drake met me for our monthly lunch, I was excited for her.  She was starting a program call Ms. Biz.

As she explained it, I could see it could/would be extremely beneficial to those that signed up and did the entire course.  And when she asked me to be the coach for program I was and still am, delighted.  I wasn’t entirely sure just what and how the course would work until I completed the Facilitators Course, l was worried I might not be helpful.  It turned out to be just up my alley – “My Why” – helping others achieve their “Why”.

Facilitator Certificate

We’re about to start the 4th class.  This group will meet four Thursday mornings from 9-Noon.  Each group of women has been a mix of ages and experience – inexperienced, young and old – semi-experienced – experienced but need a new focus, help with financial accounting or how to social market.

Some are dealing with family issues and need help figuring out how to approach them.  Some – they just need a friend.  Where are you?

What Do You Need?

  • Do you need a business friend – someone who understands the challenges and risks of owning your own business?
  • Are you a solopreneur who needs someone to look over  your business plan and provide a positive critique but an honest one?
  • Are you feeling alone and unsure how to go forward with your Mom Owned Business?

We’re here to help!

The next class begins October 15th from 9 AM to Noon via Zoom.  Our first gathering gives you an overview of the class and an opportunity to meet and get to know the other women enrolled in the class.  Then we’ll explore why you’re in business or want to be.  Debbie is a great instructor and I’ll catch up with you between classes to see where you are and what you’ve found out about yourself and your business.  And from there – we’ll explore your “Why”.

What will you get from the class?  Assuming you do your homework_

  • A competed simple Business Plan you can use to develop your business around
  • A one-page budget
  • Your Elevator Pitch – AKA your “Why”
  • 2 hrs. free coaching/consulting

Know a Stay At Home Mom that wants to start a business – we call them MOBs – Mom Owned Business Women.  This class is perfect for them.  There’s no grade, score, or failures.  Just lost of help and support and access to lots of other great classes through the Women’s Business Center.

Best of All?

It’s free.

Here’s the sign-up link.  Hope to see you there!!
