Women In Business Luncheon

Women in Business friends and members –

I know it’s been awhile since we connected. 2019 was a rather disjointed year for gathering and training. But I’m happy to say WE’RE BACK!

The Women’s Business Center will now coordinate the Women In Business Luncheons, trainings, and socializing.

We will again meet the 4th Wednesday of each month (starting January 22nd) at the Sizzler in Cedar City.

You’ll go in and get your lunch (if you choose) and pay for it – then proceed to the large dining room at the back of the restaurant.

We’ll start to gather at 11:30 AM but Noon to 1 PM will be the time for the programs.

Looking forward to seeing you all there. Registration is open (so we can give the restaurant a head-count) at the Women’s Business Center Site.

Till later –

Jana

  • Hello! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any issues with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing a few months of hard work due to no back up. Do you have any solutions to stop hackers?

    • Angelic –
There are several things we use on our sites to limit exposure, but there isn’t anything that is 100%.
First, we keep all our plugins current – updating them as soon as we’re notified there is an update.
Second, we have all out sites hosted on Dreamhost.com. They have an anti-attack system that is affordable and seems to work.
Third, we use WordFence on all our WordPress sites.

We were hacked several years ago and I did have a backup to restore to, but we did lose all the current posts that had not been backed up. I try and back up each site at least twice a year.

I hope that helps. Websites are time consuming, but necessary in today’s world.
